A new travel update from the UK government means that testing for travel is once again less complex and more affordable! However, there are still many questions that people may have, whether it's around what the rules and requirement changes are, or more importantly, how they may affect them. With this in mind, we want to answer all of your FAQ’s.
The Government have updated requirements for UK arrivals on the following:
Pre-departure tests: no longer required for fully vaccinated arrivals - from 4am GMT, 7th January.
Day 2 tests: antigen/lateral flow tests can be used by fully vaccinated arrivals instead of PCR tests - from 4am GMT, 9th January.
The fully vaccinated rules also apply to children aged 17 and under, people taking part in an approved vaccine trial, and people who are unable to have a vaccination due to medical reasons.

Yes, this can be done. However, you will need to make a booking for a Day 2 antigen test and inform our support team that you already have the kits (i.e. your pre-departure test kit) - please email email@example.com. Support will refund you for the original kit, and then you can use the new Day 2 activation codes that you are sent. Please note, the activation codes must be changed - in order for a refund to be provided, evidence that a Day 2 booking has been processed must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org when requesting a booking alteration.
Day 2 antigen lateral flow tests are available to book now at qured.com - these can be used for arrivals after 4:00 AM GMT on Sunday 9 January.
The rules have not changed for unvaccinated travellers. UK travellers who are not fully vaccinated will still have to take pre-departure and Day 2 and Day 8 PCR tests.
