Covid-19 tests for fully vaccinated arrivals

As of 11th February (from 4am GMT), there’s no longer a requirement for fully vaccinated arrivals to take a Covid-19 test before or after arrival. This replaces the requirement to take an antigen test on or before Day 2.

If you’re heading abroad, you may still need a Covid-19 Fit to Fly test.

Testing requirements

What counts as fully vaccinated?

To count as a fully vaccinated arrival, you must have received a full course of an approved vaccine. Children aged under 18 also count as fully vaccinated. Click here to determine what tests you need to take if you’re not fully vaccinated.

Do I need to quarantine?

No. There’s no requirement for fully vaccinated travellers to self-isolate upon or after arrival, unless they receive a positive result from a Covid-19 test whilst in the country.

When did the requirements change?

As of February 11th 4am GMT, no Covid-19 tests are required for fully vaccinated arrivals to the UK.
